agricultural
At present, the country’s agricultural system is facing multiple challenges such as rapid population growth, reduction of cultivable land, differences in yield at field level with research, effective and proper use of land and soil resources and agricultural inputs, and increasing capacity to cope with the effects of climate change. Therefore, there is an urgent need to develop an efficient and sustainable agricultural production system to ensure higher productivity, profitability and higher production of crops. Realizing the importance of the matter, ‘SOBAI SOBAR’ organization is implementing the activities of potential land identification and crop zoning to ensure more production of crops/crops in 300 upazilas.
Land and soil, climate and flood data are an important part of the project for land use determination and crop zoning. As socio-economic status plays an important role in the adoption of agricultural technology at the farmer level, data on financial profitability of crops have been considered. The aim’s of this project is to provide financial assistance to poor farmers, support various crop seeds, organize various workshops on agricultural issues including water irrigation, which will help in making informed/practical decisions for the development of agriculture. As a result food production will increase and help in ensuring maximum income of farmers.
